Department of bioresources engineering (Prof. Tanaka) accepted a student (Chang Yu Chien) from Chung Chou University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. Mr. Chang is participating in the lectures, such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Physiology, Inorganic Chemistry, and Food Processing Technology, proceeding in Japanese with local students and foreign students. He also started his own project on developing a health food with Okinawan local natural resources. He began his stay in our college from Oct. 2015 and will stay there to Feb. 2016. We hope many local students to be influenced by him through various kinds of international exchange activities.
